Terms of Service
These terms apply when you create a SwitchProof account, install SwitchProof for Windows or buy a plan. Please read them. If you use SwitchProof for your employer, you accept them on its behalf.
1. Who we are
SwitchProof is provided by Najeebullah Usmani ("we", "us"). You can reach us at najusmani@gmail.com.
2. What SwitchProof is
SwitchProof is a testing tool for card switches that use ISO 8583 messages. It has two parts:
- The console: the website at switchproof.online, where you sign in and work.
- SwitchProof for Windows (the "agent"): a program you install on a PC inside your network. It sends the test messages to the switches you set up and, if you choose, reads the bank database you set up to check what each transaction did.
The console runs in your browser and talks directly to the agent on your PC.
3. Your account
- Give a valid email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- An account is for one person. Don't share it; ask us for a team or bank arrangement instead.
- You must be at least 18 and able to accept these terms.
4. Plans and your licence
SwitchProof has a Free plan and paid plans (Team and Enterprise), described on the Pricing page. While your plan is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SwitchProof for testing in your organisation, within the limits of that plan.
- A paid plan bought by card covers one account. Plans for several people or a whole bank can be arranged by invoice; those arrangements are confirmed in writing.
- The agent checks your plan with a signed licence from our website. The licence keeps working without internet for up to 30 days, after which the agent needs to refresh it.
- Invite codes and trial grants give a plan for the period stated with them.
5. Buying a plan
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Your purchase is also covered by Paddle's buyer terms. Prices are shown before you pay; sales tax or VAT is added where it applies.
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. They renew automatically each month at the price shown to you, until you cancel.
- Some plans start with a free trial. You need a card to start one. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the first monthly payment is taken then; if you cancel during the trial, you aren't charged and the plan ends with the trial.
- You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt email, or by writing to us. After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the month you paid for, then SwitchProof returns to Free.
- If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays active for a short grace period (currently 3 days) and then returns to Free.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
6. Using SwitchProof responsibly
SwitchProof sends real messages to real systems. You agree that:
- You only test switches, networks and databases that you are authorised to test.
- Load tests can slow down or disrupt a switch. You choose the targets and volumes, and you get approval from whoever runs the system before testing. You don't send test traffic to a production system unless its operator has agreed.
- You use test cards and test accounts. You only use real cardholder data where your organisation's policies and the rules that apply to you (for example PCI DSS) allow it.
- For money checks you use a read-only database user.
- You don't resell SwitchProof, copy or reverse engineer it, or try to get around the licence check or plan limits.
7. Your data
What you test with (switch addresses, messages, card and account numbers, results, reports and database credentials) is stored by the agent on your PC. It is not sent to us, and you are responsible for keeping backups. Our Privacy Policy explains the account and payment information we do hold.
8. Other companies' software
- Money checks need Oracle's JDBC driver, which is not included. You supply it from your own Oracle installation, under Oracle's licence.
- SwitchProof is not affiliated with Oracle. Oracle and FLEXCUBE are trademarks of Oracle Corporation.
9. Updates and availability
We improve SwitchProof over time and may change or remove features. Sometimes the website needs a newer agent; it will then ask you to install the update. We aim to keep the website available but can't promise it will always be, for example during maintenance or problems at our hosting providers.
10. No warranty
SwitchProof is provided "as is". It is a testing aid: its results depend on how you set it up and on the systems you test, and it does not certify that a switch or bank system is correct or compliant. Check the results before you rely on them, for example for a sign-off. To the extent the law allows, we give no other warranties, express or implied.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or revenue, lost data, or disruption to systems you test. Our total liability for any claim about SwitchProof is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using SwitchProof at any time and ask us to delete your account by email. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you where we reasonably can. When your account ends, your licence ends too.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change significantly affects a paid plan, we will email you before it applies. Using SwitchProof after a change means you accept it.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections that the law of your own country gives you and that cannot be excluded.
